HOW TO PAY WITH AFFIRM

 

Step 1

Select Affirm at checkout for orders totalling $300 to $15 000.

 

Step 2

Affirm will split your purchase into equal monthly payments. The first is due when your order is placed. Since Gorila has manufacturing lead time, you may have finished paying for your order before it ships.

 

Step 3

The remaining payments will be automatically charged to your card every month.

Is Affirm safe to use?

Affirm is 100% safe, secure and easy to use.

What do I need to use Affirm?

  • A Canadian VISA/Mastercard credit or debit card
  • Canadian permanent resident or citizen
  • 18 years of age (AB, MB, ON, PEI, QC, SK)/ 19 Years of age (BC, NB, NF, NT, NS, NU, YK)

Is it possible to change my payment method for my Affirm order?

Yes. It is possible to update your payment method online from your Affirm account or by using the Affirm app. The accepted payment methods are: Visa, Mastercard, or debit card.

Does paying this way affect my credit score?

When you choose to Pay in monthly instalments, Affirm may perform a soft credit check. This type of credit check will not impact your credit score.

Can I use a prepaid debit card, a prepaid credit card or a gift card for Affirm purchases?

Prepaid cards or gift cards are not valid to be used for Affirm. Affirm purchases must only be made by Visa/MasterCard credit or debit cards.

Can I use Affirm for the in-store pickup service?

No. Affirm is not an accepted method of payment for in-store pickup.

Can I return my purchases?

Gorila’s return and exchange policy will apply for any returns or exchanges. See our policy here.
Once the return has been received by Gorila, your Affirm balance will be reduced or cancelled accordingly. If you have already made payments, those will be refunded to you by Affirm.

Can I use Affirm in store?

Affirm is not currently available for use in Gorila stores or events.

Are there any exceptions?

Yes. Affirm is for consumer only.

Having trouble paying for your order with Affirm?

If you have any trouble paying for an order with Affirm , it may be due to the following reasons:

• Affirm may have rejected your application. We’d recommend choosing another method of payment or placing an order for a smaller amount.
• You may have missed payments on previous Affirm purchases.
• You may have missed a required field at checkout.
• You are using a pre-paid debit or credit card which are not valid for use with Affirm.
